What You Need to Know: Sip & Stroll
The Refreshment Area allows you to enjoy beer, wine or liquor purchased from a participating establishment outside, but only if it’s served in the official designated container (look for the cup with the program sticker!).
When Can You Sip?
- Sunday – Thursday: 7 AM – 10 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 7 AM – Midnight
Where Can You Walk?
- The zone generally covers most of Downtown, including the Central Business District, the Hotel and Arena districts, the Monroe North neighborhood and the Bridge Street corridor.
Quick Rules to Keep the Fun Flowing:
- Designated Cups Only: Your drink must be in the special Refreshment container.
- Stay in the Zone: You must remain within the orange-signed boundaries. Leaving the zone violates the rules!
- Stay Outdoors: You cannot carry your Refreshment into any other business (even to reuse the cup!). Consume or dispose of your drink and container before entering any non-participating establishment.
- No BYOB: All drinks must be purchased from a participating business, no outside alcohol, cans or glass bottles are allowed in the zone.
