Blooming Breezes

Blooming Breezes consists of three vertical columns, each made up of three individually rotating boxes. All four sides of each box feature bold graphic imagery of Michigan native wildflowers. The boxes can be turned by visitors, creating an ever-changing arrangement of color and pattern. At night, internal illumination brings the sculpture to life in a new way, making the floral graphics glow from within. The piece is rooted in a sense of place, drawing on the natural beauty that is native to Michigan. It invites visitors to interact, explore, and connect with the landscape around them
