Created in 2021, this mural honors the legacy of Heartside’s AIDS Resource Center, founded in 1988 at 42 S. Division out of the AIDS Taskforce. It commemorates the lives lost and the fight for LGBTQIA+ people living with AIDS in Heartside and West Michigan. This mural is part of Heartside Historic Murals, a project by Dwelling Place, celebrating the neighborhood’s untold history.
