Grand Rapids artist Phanie Mills-Behning, a former San Chez Bistro employee, completed La Diosa, an 18’ × 20’ mural on the restaurant’s patio wall. Inspired by Spain’s Alhambra, the piece depicts a mythical female figure bridging the natural and human-made worlds, capturing both the essence of hospitality and the spirit of San Chez.
