Installed in 2009, Dennis Oppenheim’s Journey Home is a colorful, circular sculpture that grows in scale toward the shape of a house, reflecting the experience of passengers returning home. The work, made of steel and colored industrial materials, has become a bold and iconic part of Grand Rapids’ public art landscape.
