Created in 2015 as part of the Exit Space Project, this mural was painted by artist George Eberhardt. The project, organized by the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, aimed to bring more public art into downtown Grand Rapids by transforming overlooked spaces, like the retaining wall at Division Avenue and Michigan Street, into vibrant canvases. Other artists also contributed works along this wall, creating a collective series of murals.
